Only 50% Of Scientists Blame Mankind for Climate Change In New Study

  1. American Geophysical Union
The American Geophysical Union (AGU) statement, adopted by the society in 2003, revised in 2007,[54] and revised and expanded in 2013,[55] affirms that rising levels of greenhouse gases have caused and will continue to cause the global surface temperature to be warmer:

“Human activities are changing Earth’s climate. At the global level, atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide and other heat-trapping greenhouse gases have increased sharply since the Industrial Revolution. Fossil fuel burning dominates this increase. Human-caused increases in greenhouse gases are responsible for most of the observed global average surface warming of roughly 0.8°C (1.5°F) over the past 140 years. Because natural processes cannot quickly remove some of these gases (notably carbon dioxide) from the atmosphere, our past, present, and future emissions will influence the climate system for millennia.

While important scientific uncertainties remain as to which particular impacts will be experienced where, no uncertainties are known that could make the impacts of climate change inconsequential. Furthermore, surprise outcomes, such as the unexpectedly rapid loss of Arctic summer sea ice, may entail even more dramatic changes than anticipated."

Why do you keep quoting the totally fabricated 97% number? It has been debunked over and over again.

The only place where there is a 97% consensus is in the "election results" of dictators.

  4. Yes, we know, it's only 0.004 % of climate scientists. But all the science organizations. Time for your meds troll.

  5. No, really, it hasn't troll. You may be as insane as jerm, but at least jerm has a brain, twisted as it is.

This quote should be framed for all the self righteous pricks like FC who think that all their opinions are correct.

  8. The real question is who was to blame for all the prior climate shifts? No cars. No smoke stacks. No evil America. In many of the previous cases, no people at all, yet the climate did change, often in a much more dramatic fashion than what we're experiencing this time around. Explain all of that and not in some off handed way.

  10. You're kidding, right? You have just made my point. How many cars were driving around 15 million years ago? How many steel mills did they have? OH, that's right, there weren't any "they". Who shifted the orbital axis? Was it the Sky Fairy you refer to, because that's the only plausible answer if you're going to claim that some beings, human or otherwise had/have something to do with that.
Here's the thing. You and those that believe as you take 100 or so years of data and somehow extrapolate out of that extremely limited slice of time to claim we're on the verge of some cataclysmic climate shift. Typically, not always, but typically these climate shifts take place over eons of time and no one thing is the sole underlying factor.
Any real scientist would find it laughable to the point of absurdity that someone would take a hundred years of data and call that satisfactory evidence to predict some impending climate catastrophe. Adding further to the absurdity you and the "scientists" (aka Gruber type hacks) are saying that the science is settled, no further investigation is needed. These predictions are so absurd and not based on science, not even junk science. It's not even good science fiction. It's a real poorly written farcical comedy.
