I just called T3

  1. I just called T3. It rang and rang and rang until it went to someone's personal voice mail. Nothing like "thank you for calling T3! leave a message"....that sucks.

    T3's site lists them as being "a member of the CBOE stock exchange"..shouldn't it say "members of the NASDAQ OMS PHLX" ????

    Am I looking at the wrong T3 website and phone number?

  3. When WTS was around I could call at any time during trading hours and speak to someone. Can't they pay some receptionist to pick up the phone? What if I was having a technical issue with my platform? How could they route me to support if they never pick up the phone during trading hours?

    Am I being old school? Is that too much to ask?
     
  4. T3 is fundamentally different. Their tech support mainly serve onsite traders. They have 3 offices btw. But hey, it's TGIF and it's time to party.
     
  5. "it's TGIF" lol...I hate to break it to you but Family Matters and Full House is no longer on the air...lol just kidding..I know what TGIF really means.
     
  6. @MoneyMatthew I am with a sub-group of ex-WTS which got bought over by T3. The structure of the sub-group seems to have remained intact. The one I am under is Integra Capital managed by Zack. He also is the reason I have stayed with the group after the T3 buyout as he is very reliable and takes care "of his own".

    It really does suck not to have someone pick up a call and I hear you on the technical issue thing too :eek:. Zack usually answers immediately. If not, you can text/email him letting him know it is urgent and he's good at getting back.

  7. Thanks AlphaTrader for the info. I am glad you shared that with me. If you don't mind me asking (you can send the response in a private IM if you want) how much do you pay per month in platform fees?
     
  8. Ya, that's not very efficient. It's always better to have a direct contact person as AlphaTrader mentioned. Perhaps joining a sub-group will alleviate this concern.

    Both Chimera and Avatar updated their sites to reflect the change in SRO. Obviously T3 knows who their SRO is, so it's probably lack of communication with their web designer. I noticed Hold.com didn't change their site either, go figure.

    I'd be more concerned about my fixed costs (platform/data) and variable costs (commissions) over the aesthetics of a web site.
