  1. Baron, I like the email notification with this listing. I have 'New Posts' as my home page but even then I may miss out on some interesting threads.

Yeah, it's easy to miss things during the week so I thought that email might be helpful. Thanks for the feedback :)

How do I setup my account to NOT get that email notification about the most popular threads because a few of those threads are mainly filled with profanity, name calling, personal attacks...big eye sore threads I would love to not know existed.

In fact, I'm very surprised they are not located in the "Chit Chat" section or even closed.

It's like ET management figure out a way around our ignore list. For example, if I put someone on my ignore list and I then logged into the forum...I will not see any of their threads that they start. In contrast, ET management has unintentionally put them on the "Most Popular Threads" based on views instead of based on quality...you guys then email me that list without showing in the email whom started the thread because it only shows the forum section the thread was started in.

Simply, instead of ET unintentionally getting around my ignore list...is it possible that you guys review each thread in your list for quality of content ? Therefore, the threads that are not moderated and filled with profanity, name calling, personal attacks can then be "removed" or "deleted" from the list because we all know that most members love to engage in that type of discussion instead of complaining about it to notify ET management.

P.S. I'm going to spend a few minutes trying to figure out how to setup my profile not to get emails from ET management if you guys will not review your thread listing for quality of content before sending the emails to members.

UPDATE: I've now uncheck the box that states...

    [Receive site mailings
You will receive a copy of emails sent by the administrator to all members of the site.]

Hopefully now I will no longer receive emails for the "Most Popular Threads" that has not been reviewed for quality of content by ET management. In addition, in the Email sent...there's an "unsubscribe" from the Weekly Digest". I've now done that too because I'm really not interested in reading the crap threads that show up in those "Weekly Digest" list when the threads should be deleted or moved to chit chat because they're so deep in the crap...threads I'm sure not worth any moderators time to police.
