Hmm interesting. I do not follow separate stocks, but usually you would like to be in the best stocks on recovery. In this case that wouldn't have worked. Care to share what conclusion did you reach after seeing this? Short squeeze? For some reason I think market might drop a bit more than first time and bought some SPY and DIA otm puts just in case, so maybe I'm a bit biased :)

I see, corn NLs was a bit better for me but now wheat got a better ones. Anyway good to know that Maverick is also interested in grains - gives me more confidence :)

  4. Nice pop in the Dollar crosses.

Mav, those 2 long pieces on FX have been a great help. I have them pasted in Notes on my iPad for periodic refreshers.

    Many thanks.

Edit: For those wondering what I'm referring to or just lost it because of the new pagination, the pieces are on pgs 788 (2 parts) and 790.

I got a confirm in Nat Gas this week, but it's below the monthly A down. I'm interested in this one because like the recent confirm in Copper, it's not obvious on the chart. Sugar confirmed for me back on Monday.

Corn and wheat continue to look good.

I figured all the easy money had been made in currencies, precious metals, and energy complex, so have been leaving them alone. NL's are not showing any signs of reversal, but many have reset or are in single digits lately hence my reluctance to get involved.

Anyone have any ideas where to get Brent crude intraday charts? I don't want to trade it, just score it for the purpose of having a better read on the energy complex. I figured I could use BNO but had a look at the intraday charts on TOS and looks pretty dicey. The low volume makes for a hard to read chart with lots of odd gaps and non-candles for lack of a better description.

You can pull up the brent futures on TOS. The best thing to do is get a futures platform, even a free demo and use their quotes and charts.

No bottom in sight on crude. The world is drowning in supply with no real economic growth. Not a good combo for oil longs.
