why is my PnL not in real time in the workstation?..my holdings tick and the pnl/ nav update every few minutes.. and also after hours, i sometimes get erroneous unrealized values for positions held overnight (futures)..
For a few years now I've intermittently received the following message when sending bracket orders via API: Error id=122631 code=135 msg=Can't find order with id =122630 Here 122630 is the parent order with transmit = false and 122631 is the child order with transmit = true. The parent order can be seen in TWS with gray/inactive status. It only shows up on the API tab but not the Pending All tab. dst- Is there anything you guys can do about this? If not, is there anything I can do to prevent it other than catching the error, cancelling, and re-submitting?
anyone having problems with ticktype 9 (previous day close) lately while subscribing for a realtime data via API? i'm getting -1 all over the place on US stocks. have to subscribe, cancel and subscribe again to get the proper values. i have no idea what did they change on IB's side, but it's just another shoot in the foot..
another example of how ignorant Ib developers to a common programming practices when it comes to TWS. or maybe they not familiar with them at all. one monitor went bad on PC with dual screen. one TWS instance happens to be positioned on right screen, while left one is the "main" windows screen. if you have any pops on front of TWS(expired contracts etc)-you won't be able to move TWS from that screen(which wasn't "there" anymore. i have to physically dif down into Pc and swap cables from monitor but that's not all-regardless to where main TWS form is positioned-all other forms still opens where they are. again-regardless if there is active monitor or no monitor at all. ok, i can move SOME of them with CTRL + arrors. great! BUT! when you click on configuration window-it does not appeared in separate form. for whatever reason it's shows as a part of TWS. you can't move it with a keyboard buttons. you have to go down again and swap the cable from monitor to another card output...man..those are basic things..customer should be able to work with TWS without a mouse and should have ability to get the focus and move ANY form. not just 'some' of them
what's up with IWM today? i'm missing something? closing price in every other source was 111.32 https://finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=IWM+Historical+Prices
that what i thought, but IB usually displays divs on their charts. wasn't the case at the time, when i post it
In my experience, the dividend doesn't appear in the charts until the following day. I'll check the next time I hear about a dividend.
hmmm...% calculation and change looks right on ADMP,but closing price on the chart is a bit different.
This chart is showing 30 minute bars which might not reflect the official closing price. If you switch to one day bars you will see the correct (official) closing price reflected there.
