Is anyone else having quite serious lag with OEC/GAIN? It is taking a long time to backfill charts and the DOM is staying well ahead of the charts. I know OEC lags during times of high volume but this is just ridiculous even for them.

Not just you. Lag on the 5 min. ES and NQ was 15+ minutes this AM. At times it took 3-4 min.+ just to get a chart when switching between ES and NQ

  6. anyone have any problems logging into to OEC today ? I just tried logging in to view this weeks charts and its giving me a data feed error.

  7. I have that problem often...They made me think it was just my problem the last time I contacted them...To be fair, I am using wifi and an older laptop

New data charges at Gain/OEC? Does that mean customers will have improved functional ability?

Even with the lag, it usually is sufficient for my needs.

  9. The CME data charges are set to start Jan 1, I am assuming this is the "new data charges" you are referring. This is a cost across all futures brokerages. If you are a non-professional the fees are lower $5 to $15 but if you are deemed a professional they are much more substantial. The entire industry keeps lower overall costs to users through reduced commissions. The CME has not lowered their exchange fees in a very long time. Now they are taxing users for market data. Greed. Instead of trying to grow the industry they are driving people away.
