Looking for Broker for...

Discussion in 'Forex Brokers' started by walkgently, Aug 20, 2014.

  1. I am a professional trader but I mainly trade in equities. However I want to open an account to make some longer-term (couple weeks-couple of months) trades in FX. What broker would you recommend to do this?

  2. Any of the bigger names will be just fine. Oanda, IB, FXCM..

  3. That's what I was thinking but I just wanted to double check. Thanks.

Choose the broker after you have decided which trading platform you would like to use. I use only ECN /STP brokers because of no trading desk trading against you, narrow spread and fast execution. Broker to choose is more of a personal choice when you have decided on the platform to use. MB Trading and cTrader might be worth checking out.

choose only suit your needs. personally i'll choose brokers which low spread, good execution process, and payment method are available for my country. just like kricka, i more prefer ECN brokers, years ago I decide to use Armada markets ECN account. good and fair ECN account offer for amount 300 usd minimum deposit, best deal so far. as today I raise my acoount deposit with them, for your information they are commision based brokers, but still i;ve got 0.7 pips on EURUSD, and if you like to trade with metal, they charge 10 pips spread on gold, 20 pips spread on silver.

    FYI,

pips refers to forex, Metals = ticks

    10 & 20 ticks is not a good deal

  9. Hi there,
How about the average pips for forex? like Euro/USD or CAD/USD?
    Thank you!
