An ACH is similar to a wire transfer. Like a wire the ACH transfer is fully electronic (Bank to Bank), because of the way the ACH is processed at the bank it normally takes 1 business day for the funds to post to your bank account; compared to a wire that post the same day.

If you need your money back to your bank account the same day - Wire Withdraw

If you are ok receiving your money the next business day, and would like to save $ - ACH Withdraw

We are happy to be able to offer our customers this FREE (No Charge) banking option - adding it to the list of services at AMP that save you money!

Why Pay? When you can get it for FREE!

$500 Account Minimum to get started with available Day-Trade Margins for the ES as low as $300 per contract.

  5. My bank doesn't seem to have an easy way to ACH money from them to you even though they are a major bank..................or maybe I'm just asking all the wrong people.

Anyway, other brokerages I've used in the past set it all up from their end. You fill out the info. They send a couple test deposits to confirm everything & then you're all set.

Will you have anything like that in the future to make the process easier?

    @macattack,

I was curious how this transfer request looked from my personal bank account, so I logged in and did the process of submitting an online ACH transfer. These are the options I was provided:

    Delivery speed *
    • Delivery within 3 business days, $3 fee, ACH Transfer, 8 PM ET cutoff time
    • Delivery on Next business day, $10 fee, ACH Transfer, 8 PM ET cutoff time
    • Delivery on Same business day, $25 fee, Wire Transfer, Delivery time is shown immediately. 5 PM ET cutoff time
I began by initiating an online "transfer to another bank"...then followed the instructions.

I am sure every bank's online banking portal is different, but I am confident this option is available for all major banks.

If you would like assistance getting this set up, please do not hesitate to contact our 24 hour support team:

  7. My bank has a "transfer" option where you enter the information of another firm, but it has no area to add:
For Further Credit To: My Name, My Account #

    I'm only able to add AMP's account # & routing #.
