    Wow, love green curry and Mangoes. Rest of them seem to be non-veg., I am a vegetarian. Never been to Thailand, got to visit October. Any trader visa for Americans ?

  2. No visa required, you get an automatic 30-day stay stamp on arrival which can be extended. For long-term stay go to the nearest consulate stateside and get the non-O-A retirement visa before traveling to LOS (Land of Smiles) - then you can stay for a year and renew easily locally within 5 minutes once per year.

    Vegetarian restaurants are in a bull market in Thailand, you will not have a problem finding plenty of choices.
