Chat Room Troubles?
When you log into the chat room, a new window will open. Therefore, if you have any software on your computer that blocks pop-up windows, it must be disabled before you attempt to log in.
If you are still unable to enter the chat room, try adjusting
the following setting in Internet Explorer:
- Click on Tools > Internet Options > Advanced
- Scroll down about halfway and find the option labeled "Java
(Sun)".
- If the Java (Sun) option is checked, uncheck it.
- Click on OK, and restart Internet Explorer.
If you do not have a Java(Sun) option, or you are using a different
web browser, or you continue to have problems after adjusting the setting
above, please report your problem in this discussion
thread. Be sure to mention the operating system (e.g. Windows XP, Vista, Mac OS X) and web browser version (e.g. Internet Explorer 6, Firefox 2) you are using. The more information you can provide, the better. So
be sure to include a detailed description of what you see when you try
to enter the chat room such as error messages, blank windows, etc.
