I couldnt help but write this review because of my unique experience with GF.
They offer far better commissions than anyone else and yet they provide excellent customer support with full attention to your problems (small or big) which could be found only in smaller brokerage firms.
The X_Trader is $3.10 all inclusive (except X_Trader subscription of course).
For my particular internet route GF X_Trader has smaller response time than I had with Velocity for instance.
Even slightes issue is being resolved quickly and with eager desire to help you trade not just with polite "sorry about that"
I cant recommend this firm more. The price/value/service quality ratio is simply cannot be compared to anything I had before (IB, Mirus, Infinity, Dorman, Velocity). |

I was with TradeStation/RJO and switched over to Global Futures a few months ago and I've never looked back.
Their customer service is unbeatable both online and off and my Broker has been a great partner with me from when I was looking to open an account and the entire time I've been with them. It's a much more "personal" experience than any other place I've checked out.
I use the TurboTrader 2 platform (I clear through RCG) and think it's fantastic from an execution standpoint, it's very customizable and is no frills; it executes trades, PERIOD.
Commissions are good/fair and better than TS/RJO and I didn't negotiate the fee down; it's completely fair and affordable. The $500 margin for ES and other popular contracts is really nice especially with a small(er) account that is looking for the leverage (hopefully used wisely...).
I don't use the online reporting all that much but it seems pretty decent.
All in all, Global Futures is fantastic. I couldn't ask for anything more in a Broker and I fail to see how anyone could b*tch and moan about them and their abilities. Highly recommended!! |

Mason Ching is my broker, this guy is on point. Never looked down on my pitiful account size to start and helped me along the way.
They ask for ALOT of ID but thats for your own safety. Overall, I am pleased, except for one thing...RTrip comissions are too high for their low margin programs. Other than that, SO FAR, SO GOOD.
Maybe I will change my mind in a few months but for now, I say go with Global and trade options with Thinkorswim. |

Their commissions are negotiable. Actually this is what you should do. Best way to so if you have other brokers for comparision (even when you're an existing customer).
They have multiple choices of trading platforms. I've been using the free J-Trader. It's easy to use and very convenient. Very quick to enter and exit your trades, and you have a good oversight of the market action, your p/l, open positions, and your capital. The other free platforms are RAN, Turbo Trader, and Turbo Trader 2.
And "Global" means global. They are a multilingual company, speaking any kind of language you could possibly imagine. Their range and quality of services has really improved over the past couple of years. |
