in the meantime - they overworked their techies, so the good ones left. those that stayed were clueless, not knowing a traceroute (for example).

the system (watley's) started being down for unusual amounts of time with alarming frequency. their short list wouldn't be ready sometimes til 10 in the morning -blaming it on penson, though other brokers who used penson could get the list up much earlier.

i left, and never looked back. they called a year later and offered me the chance to come back, at much reduced commissions (from before, or my current broker). i declined, because i couldn't trust them.
