My first experience with Crossland - they were very helpful in opening CTA accounts, quick on the turnaround and very fair on rates.
One gentleman there impressed me by mentioning that things were slow across all FCMs nowadays and they are deeply appreciative of new business. Made an impression on me after ADM was a pain in my butt, to open accounts.
These guys are based in the CBOT, I used to walk by their offices almost every day; been clearing since '84.
I also liked how they keep 90% of cust. seg. funds on deposit with CME Group.
If you go with Crossland, use the CTS T4 platform - it's very robust.
No stock or forex trading, but overall a very good Futures Brokerage.

I also use them with DeepDiscount as an IB. You can't go wrong with these guys. If you are not pleased by the way they run their shop you need to consider if anyone can please you.
I rated training and tech a 5 but that is simply a tech support rating. I do not think they really do any training. Since they offer commodities options as well I think they are a solid 4 on range of services but some currency traders could have a realistic disagreement there.
This is a no frills, no BS operation with good rates, platforms and service. I just hope i get good enough at this business to warrant this kind of service ... lol. |

i use crossland through deepdiscounttrading. their customer portal is a little bit outdated, it is actually an old database front end which is not self-explaining. after figuring out how to get your account information it is as easy as with any other clearing company. at least they make the account information available. i use a different futures cleaing company which operates in the dark not delivering any information but a daily statement. furthermore crossland offers free ach out. normally only large brokers like etrade, ameritrade/tos and ib offer free ach transfers. i hate paying for sending my own money to myself ! traders should boycott any clearing company not participating in the ach system.
