never needed support so don't know how good they are.
wiring in and out by third reliable party so fairly content with that. |

I've not gone live live with AMP yet, only demo for maybe 6 mths now. My contact at AMP, call him CA, has always been supportive of my efforts, calling every few weeks to ask if I need anything, if the demo rolled over, giving me the latest news on NT and ZEN, etc. Sometimes I wonder if a firm is going to be able to be patient while I hammer out my stategies, etc, etc, ad nauseum ... all the minutea that is trading ... AMP and CA have restored my confidence in trading firms.
If live is as good as demo ... |

I've been with then a few weeks now. I use TT feed and Ninja, so far so good. I always seem to have software issues and they have really been on the spot. Answered phones and emails right away. The biggest thing I've noticed is always a friendly answer on the phone - just a little different from IB and some of the other brokers I called to get info'. I hope this service of AMP keeps up, very happy so far. Commissions are just about the lowest, once my vol' gets to be a reg' avg' will see maybe about better pricing. |

I have to admit I am suspicious when we get so many reviews from traders with very few posts and a 0.07 posts per day average. There's way too many to believe it's a true representation of ET's membership, so if I don't see active posting or a reasonable number of posts I treat the review as false.
I don't have a review because I tried to open an account but was unsuccessful. I was placing money with several brokers and they all got my wire inside 2 days - all except AMP where it took a full 2 weeks. Then it was discovered there was no account reference so I had to get my bank to request a refund.
I had copied out the information from AMPS email but now an account reference was added. Guess how long it took the wire to reach AMP's bank a 2nd time? Yeah - a full 2 weeks. But it was screwed up again so I had to request a refund once again as apparently it's slower if their bank process it.
After over one month of waiting and 2 attempts that was enough for me. Watch out for a very slow bank wire. |

I was impressed with the service and time that the represenatives took with me in regards to getting setup with Ninja platform; coming from trading equities fulltime for 8 years to starting off in the ES and new platform was a change, yet my rep Thien was more than helpful and insightful.
I liked the customer portal if you wanted to do a wire or request check; no having to forward info to broker or rep; just enter the info online and funds came on time.
I guess the only drawback that I could see was not having live customer support in case an issue developed in the night session.
I did have one issue in regards to an over charge and they did look into matter and credited my account.
Was pleased overall.
