You don't need user ratings, look at what happened recently at NFA: http://www.nfa.futures.org/news/newsRel.asp?ArticleID=3676
NFA's Business Conduct Committee alleged that Gain engaged in abusive margin, liquidation and price slippage practices that benefited Gain to the detriment of its customers. The Committee also alleged that Gain failed to maintain records for certain unfilled orders, failed to adequately review the activities and promotional material of the firm's unregistered solicitors, and failed to supervise the firm's operations.

Gain has rejected my market orders (via Ninja) 2x in 3 weeks. When I called customer service I was told this was due to "volatility" and should be expected. If your broker willing walks away from an unconditional market order you've simply chosen the wrong broker. The liquidity that you've assumed existed b/c of all those flashing lights on the screen is just a mirage. Now, I'm scrambling to find a new broker. I'll never go with a dealer again, agency only from here. |

Forex.com is just about the worst FX broker I have used. I am using ninjatrader with them and the spreads are outrageous. I withdraw money every week and I submit my withdrawal request on a wed. morning and it does not even get processed until the following monday afternoon which means the funds do not hit my bank account until mid-day tuesday. This is absolutely ridiculous. They state on their website that it takes 1-2 business days to process a withdrawal request. There have also been a few times where my limit orders have not been filled eventhough the price traded through my limit order on several other brokers price feeds. I understand that there can be a variance between brokers, but the excuse they gave me each time was that the price happened to miss my limit order by 1 fraction of a pip. I am switching brokers as of immediately. I would not recommend this bucketshop to anyone. |
