I started up trading again after a hiatus of a year and getting beat up in the markets. I was able to rebuild my capital of previous losses but most importantly my strategies and self confidence in trading. A few friends and colleagues of mine threw a few broker names around when I was in my search for a new broker, one of them being Cannon Trading. I have been using Ninja Trader since I began trading so using any other platform was almost out of the question. I just wanted a broker that could help me set up the platform, and someone I could actually call if I had a trade situation I could not take care of on my end. I wanted a broker who was fast, knowledgeable, and AVAILABLE. The first time I called into Cannon Trading, they didn’t offer me the lowest rates I have seen on the internet but the broker I was speaking with spent an hour with me over the phone just answering all my questions, going through their different feeds for Ninja and even offered to show me his own screen and set up for Ninja. I thought that that was great and I called a few times after and that particular broker always took my calls. This broker at Cannon Trading gave me the service and set up I needed and helped me start trading live the same day I funded my trading account with them. Although after I rarely use my broker (unless I have a rare issue with my platform) I am still able to speak with him when I need to. I just wanted to share my experience because their service is great and very much appreciated by me and my set up is exactly what I needed to start trading again. |

I would make the same decision. This broker takes good care of me. I trade mostly Mini S&P 500 and the Mini Russell 2000 with ninja trader. |

I've had a great experience here. My broker knows me by name and he has given me some valuable tips and suggestions to help me along with my trading.

Here are the top 10 things I recommend look for when you choose a broker to make sure you're taken care of over the long run:
1. Good service
2. Minimal hold time when contacting firm for trades or any issue
3. Fair comm. rates or competitive with other firms
4. Experienced brokers
5. Reliability of platform
6. Good charting
7. No hidden charges or fees
8. Free trading platform
9. Free data
10. Access to daily research
Cannon's fulfilled every one of these for me, so I'm a happy camper. You're foolish if you don't realize that the charts, platform, and charting are very similar between brokers, so what makes Cannon stand out in my mind are the good service, minimal hold time, experienced brokers, reliability of platform, and no hidden charges or fees - they're great about telling you very bluntly what you'll be paying, and making sure you don't pay for anything you don't need. Hope my Cannon Trading review helps somebody out there.
