So there new Active Trader Program is pretty poor. It was a nice thought, but it's built on Adobe Flash, which isn't a good trading platform. Most firms are OS specific or Java. There is a lag when trading, sometimes prices freeze so the platform fills u in at a higher then market price, you don't notice it unless you trade a lot and see it happen every now and then. There margin liquidation system is usually the worst, a few times the price is closed at the highest tick. The ECN system is supposed to help customers. Imagine, with that ECN system your closed out a price 1 pip higher then the high for the day. Asked to explain why they will tell you that it was the ask price. They release new updates to there software without proper testing, so it's really for new traders who can get cleaned out. There current customers have to suffer in there trading and report technical problems. Currently active traders have to delete there cache after each they close the program otherwise they can't log in.

I still have never had a problem with them. They never screwed me on quotes or fills or anything. MAYBE once or twice but I got it back. Not only that but I requested approx 5 check all of which have come in a timely manner.

There was ONE problem that people complain about and it does happen. The spread blows out. Yes, it does but ONLY during off hours. It happens at a time when NO ONE should be trading. When the market(s) are closed there's no reason to be trading and that's when it happens.

Consider this your last chance warning. Do a google search on this company. "FXCM is a fraud" or "FXCM is a scam" to get a wider range of opinions. Many traders do good with a demo and then fund their account to lose it all.

You can read this lawsuit against FXCM from a government website here.. http://www.cftc.gov/stellent/groups...dickten2309.pdf

MY REVIEW: Just throught I'd post a friendly warning to all the people considering trading forex.

STAY AWAY. GRAB YOUR WALLET AND RUN. IGNORE ALL THESE HYPE ARTISTS/ FX SALESMAN ON HERE THAT WORK FOR FX BUCKETSHOPS AND LISTEN TO ME.

After doing really well with the demo account I opened a live account and lost it all.

I'd suggest anyone who is considering getting into forex and just can't wait to open a live account to start by opening a live account with the smallest amount possible...$25 and trade with very small sizes of 1 to 5 lots.

You can be right on numerous trades and on numerous trends and it won't matter if you are stopped out with all the spikes against you because you are overmargined. Or if you overtrade with all the very wide spreads on entry and exit.

If you don't believe me, open a live account and try to go long and see how far out your open position is placed. Then watch the opposite bar post to create the instant loss and gap to stop people out. If you have nerves of steal to sit through that completely random BS then you deserve the few cents of profit you'll get.

If you look at the 1 minute charts you'll see that the large long bars actually end up statistically working against you. They create long wide ranges that will stop you out short or long from any logical entry point. If you try to get in on a breakout, it's almost guaranteed that there will be a counter bar to lockout people in a range who are either overmargined or that have stops. This doesn't mean you cannot make money, it simply means you have to leave lots of room for all the manipulation that you will face in jacked spreads and wide spiking bars.

Be sure to research the process of getting your money out before putting money in. Fees are often involved in getting your money out. Yes they charge you to send you your money.

First of all, FX 360 belongs to GFT (Global Futures Trading). Second of all the website offers information and currency research, not trading.

Honestly, FXCM accounts make sure you loose money. They take a trade opposite to yours and fill you at bad moments. COn=untless amount of times, I either got filled at the very top if im going long, or the very bottom if im going short. Techncally, oanda does the same thing...they are good but you ave to watch the ask and bid prices. Whatever, our money pick what you desire.
