This vould be my favorite broker if not for their lousy, lazy customer service. Bad attitudes and the reps aren't afraid to express their displeasure that your phone call is interrupting their web browsing. Also, the 1099s are always screwed up and good luck trying to create a Sch D wihout expensive tax services. Their tax data download system is a freaking joke. Lots of headaches here for not a whole lot in return. |

Been trading full time for 13 years. Great execeution, reliable feed, commissions very low, very accomadative, excellent communication with support team... especially D. Schure who is a solid guy. Recommend over all other brokers I've tried throughout my career. |

been here a little while now. Great executions and great pricing. different than your regular broker. i have an individual personal rep that i work with. knocked for bad service but never had an issue. definite recommendation to any trader. |

Switched from Scottrade to Lightspeed. It's one of the best decisions I've made in my efforts to be a trader. Low commissions and fast executions lets anyone scalp easily. Would never be able to do it with Scottrade.
Only downside is that sometimes their personnel don't seem to like to talk to customers on the phone. Some are cool and some are not. I can hear some sighing in the background as they are talking to you like they are somehow bothered. So if you are new, it could be intimidating. Also their tech online website always has issues. Whether it's the money transfer button being down or the statements page being down. Other than that, I do prefer Lightspeed over retail brokerages for day trading. I did hear that Lightspeed's portfolio of stocks to short is not as good as some others like IB. So far however, I haven't had the urge to short penny stocks yet but might consider it in the future. If Lightspeed wants to compete with IB, they should do more to improve on that. |

their software is pretty good, but I'd find a different prop broker offering LS before signing up. You can get better routing options on LS from Wedbush firms like Capital Traders Group |
