strive for consistency and compound your account instead of trying to get rich overnight..

This is mostly a presentation to support trend following. It gives you good stories and examples of those who have succeeded in trading..

Sort of like the Market Wizards type of book, but much less of meat involved.

It's just an easy read...I actually enjoyed it.. But understand that the book is all about promoting trend following, rather than offering anything significant that may help..

His other book, "Turtle Trading" is much better.. But most of the contents in that book can also be found on net for free..

The title would lead one to believe that there would be some insight as to how these great traders make their money. Unfortunately, it is extremely light on strategy.

A well documented story book of the history of the dead trading form known as trend following, I reccomend you read it to know what not to do. Fun beach read, but dont follow the trading advice from a long ago dead era http://tinyurl.com/yhd28tt

This is a classic example of a trading book written just to make money. It keeps repeating the same thing ie "trend trading is great" in a hundred different ways throughout the book. Entire book feels repititive It doesn't mention any methods to implement trend trading successfully. A waste.
