It's like you speak English and I speak English but we still don't understand each other. Maybe this book by Dr Van Tharp is helpful to some readers. It didn't help me at all. Dr Van Tharp may be great in making money by working as a psychiatrist. But he admits that he stinks at trading. I really don't want to disrespect his efforts and good intentions. But he didn't help me so I don't recommend his book.
Instead I recommend all books written by Dr Brett Steenbarger and Mark Whistler. Both of them are real traders. And Dr Steenbarger is a highly skilled psychiatrist.

Worth the Money
If you take just Van Tharp's portion, you have a decent follow up to his previous work. I found this book to be rewarding in terms of taking an entrepreneurial approach to trading and money/risk managing. However, his coauthor's rants about scalping stocks by reading level II has become quite obsolete.
Or you will lose all your money trying out useless strategies mentioned in this book. Van Tharpe would have done well had he stopped writing after 'Trade your way to financial freedom'. He has not learned anything new after that book.
