This is a classic, but it has been updated. Personally I would stick with one of the old editions maybe from the 80s and then complement with modern takes on standard bar-chart patterns. Don't particularly like the updated version. ALSO, the old editions are beautifully bound - not like the really crappy looking new edition (at least new 2007). Get an old edition on abebooks and put it in the bookshelf because it looks good

I found this book in my Dad's office. He was a silicon chip designer, not a trader. Yet I was amazed and fascinated by this book. There is really nothing new under the sun in trading, and once you look over this book, you will see why.

I have the original edition. It's amazing to see the volatility in stock prices during that time. I WISH we had that kind of price movement today. I would be a billionaire way ahead of schedule.

a good foundational book but the content could have been reduced to 50 page.
