Nothing earth shattering here, but very good to help newbies like me understand how to put all these things we are learning together to actually learn how to trade. Nice job Robert!

That's funny, that nothing new is covered in this book. However if you put all those simple pieces together those High Probability Trading Strategies give you probably a highly profitable outcome.

The main purpose of Robert Miner is to give you the most simple but most profitable trading strategies. They are a combination of momentum indicators, simple chart patterns, fibonacci support/resistance, and fibonacci time.

Some new traders have complained that this book is too complicated. It's not. All you need is common sense to grasp the ideas. I recommend this book to new traders as well because they can avoid damaging pitfalls. However it's highly recommended that one knows the basics of technical analysis (including the concept of Elliott Waves). Seasoned traders will only benefit. And yes, the strategies are for all markets, and for all timeframes.

Robert Miner is well known for his trading expertise and deep knowledge of several related methodologies, eg, Fibonacci Analysis. What surprised me (this was the first one of his books I've read) was that he approaches his subject in a holistic way, not just from a Fibonacci perspective. In it, Miner presents an end-to-end trading approach that should be very useful to beginners and seasoned traders alike. The book is written extremely well, with light humor and clarity, and the figures/charts are well done. On top of that, the attached CD brings home his message through several well explained examples. I loved it.
